neuroRAD2019 - Call for Abstracts - 2nd German Stroke School - StAR-Lounge
Dear Sir or Madam Dear colleagues
After a splendid inaugural event last year, we are very pleased to invite you again to our 54th Annual Meeting of the DGNR and 27th Annual Meeting of the ÖGNR in Kap Europa in Frankfurt/Main, Germany from 9th to 12th October 2019. You can expect the tried and tested as well as new formats and highlights, which you can read about in this newsletter.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
From now on you can submit your abstract for the neuroRAD 2019 with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Neurooncology, Inflammatory CNS Diseases, Neurodegeneration, Spine and Cerebrovascular Diseases! The submission deadline is 11th June 2019. We will offer top-class keynote speeches by neuroradiologists in conjunction with high-profile speakers from our clinical partner disciplines on the main topics of the congress. All accepted papers will be integrated into the main program; poster sessions will be held on specific topics and moderated by experienced colleagues. In addition, accepted abstracts will be published in the journal Clinical Neuroradiology.
As a brand new addition to the program, this year's keynote lectures will be followed by "Power Pitches", which will be awarded for outstanding contributions. This is a perfect opportunity to present scientific work to a large audience, especially for our young colleagues, who we would like to warmly invite to actively participate in the program.
You can expect again a wide range of advanced training lectures across the entire field of neuroradiology, including the popular "Fit-für-den-Facharzt“ courses. The program ranges from lectures on "CNS changes in glaucoma" and "Errors and mistakes in neuroradiology" to several lectures on spinal imaging. In short, there will be something on offer for everyone.
2ND GERMAN STROKE SCHOOL
After a successful start in 2018, we offer the German Stroke School again in this year’s program. Two days of intensive simulator and flow model training, combined with a lecture program held by proven specialists are waiting for you: The German Stroke School will once again be an outstanding opportunity to learn thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke. Applications can be submitted until 30th April 2019. The course is primarily targeted at colleagues from abroad (fellowships are available, please spread the word!). But of course, also young German-speaking neuroradiologists are very welcome to participate!
For the first time, start-ups and university research groups have the opportunity to present their work and products in our StAR Lounge ("Start-up and Applied Research"). We are looking for researchers, entrepreneurs, and users who are interested in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data management and cloud solutions, robotics, and other topics with strong current and future potential and who would like to present and discuss these with a unique audience of clinical experts. Take advantage of this unique networking opportunity!
We are very much look forward to your contributions to and your participation in the 54th Annual Meeting of the DGNR and 27th Annual Meeting of the ÖGNR in Frankfurt/Main, Germany from 9th to 12th October 2019.
On behalf of the entire board of the DGNR, the ÖGNR, and the Congress Team
